How to Stop Morning Sickness – Pregnancy Survival Secrets
Looking for how to stop morning sickness? You’re not alone. As a woman goes through pregnancy, many changes happen inside her body. The changes can affect as far as her appetite, and even her mood. Women during pregnancy are often times irritable and sometimes experience mood swings. Powerful chemicals called hormones are thought to cause this changes. These things are typically normal during pregnancy. Pregnancy is an event full of surprises but the experience can be overwhelming especially for first time moms.
To help women cope, with pregnancy, here are some few pregnancy survival techniques you can use to make the experience a bit easier.
First, get yourself a survival pack. What I mean by this, is an inexpensive makeup bag or any kind of bag small enough to carry around but could fit all the necessary stuff you need. Every pregnant woman needs to have a survival pack on hand at all times, to deal with those unpleasant and embarrassing runs to the bathroom. A survival pack will help you organize all the pregnant stuff you need without feeling awkward about it.
The second thing every pregnant woman should have for morning sickness relief is a bottle of water. Water is a must for pregnant women especially during the first trimester. It is during the first trimester women suffer from nausea and vomiting the most. The body can run out of water quickly and vomiting can only speed up the process. The best way to prevent fluid loss is by drinking lots and lots of water. Keep a bottle of water with you always. Put in your survival pack especially when you need to travel long distances. Make sure to sip out of the bottle the entire day.
A tissue is also a must especially during the first trimester when nausea and vomiting is at its peak. Have you ever experienced coughing where you almost vomit? The after taste inside the mouth can be very unpleasant. A small pack of tissue will help you deal with this situation. After vomiting, you might also want to wipe your mouth with a soft tissue rather than a rough toilet paper right? A simple tissue can make the whole pregnancy experience a bit easier and give you morning sickness relief.
Pregnancy can be a little demanding. But just think of the joys that little baby you have can bring. Try out these simple survival techniques right here, and make the most out of your pregnancy. You can find more pregnancy tips and remedies inside my new book “Secrets to Stopping Morning Sickness”.
